today, I had so many tears for this world. how tragic the choices of man! how harrowing, the state of affairs! the earth, in no small part, must undergo its changes. its evolving. and these changes, so I have learned, is of a neutral sort — sometimes tame over cool waters gentle, sometimes a torrent of unabated wild winds that remain, unable to retire in its force. and yet by and by, the sun would come once again. and still these hard lessons are tough. there will never be enough books to hold humanity’s true experience. let not our passions be shipwrecked; help us find the peaceful life we crave that lies below our ego, past personality, down and deeper yet, unto our inner spirit.
