there is a Grace…

there is a Grace —

that whets the appetite of God

that falls from the heavens

and emerges from the deep crevices of the earth

a Grace that quells soul hunger

and nourishes the wandering nomad

a Grace that is a fire, a hearth, a gathering spot

that restores, that re-members

may, in this lifetime, you come to know this Grace

shining from the very heart of God

through the eyes of men 

that wet themselves in the knowledge

that you are known

and loved

yah Allah

there is Grace 

even for you 

still
