and so what if you, like the majestic sunflower stand erect in the middle of the garden, defying gravity with your thick stems and round round face? and so what if they stare, saying: who is she to face the sun’s high noon, in unabashed golden yellow light? for whether singularly or among a cluster of friends, no one can ever begrudge your sun, flower.
